What data do I collect?
- Personal identification information, specifically your name, surname, and email address when you subscribe to the mailing list in accordance with GDPR.
- If you leave a comment on our website, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What data do I SEE but not collect?
In addition to your name, surname, and email address, I also see your physical address, when you:
- Pay for a session via PayPal (You are covered here by PayPal’s Privacy Policy)
- I see your location, language, and email client in Mailchimp, when you subscribe to my mailing list.
Because I use WP Statistics to monitor my website traffic, I see the following:
- A list of what countries have accessed my site
- A list of what browsers are used
- A list of what operating systems are used
- A list of what devices are used, i.e. desktop, smart phone or tablet
How do I collect your data?
Your name, surname, and email address are collected in a database on MailChimp when you subscribe to my mailing list.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on my site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
How will I use your data?
I collect your data so that I can:
- Inform you of any changes to services, prices or working hours.
Your data is NEVER shared with anyone, or any other company. When emailing groups of people, MailChimp is used and all subscriber’s email addresses are hidden.
How do I store your data?
Your name, surname, and email address are stored in MailChimp.
Your physical address will be seen in the payment email from PayPal when you pay for a session. These emails are kept in client folders stored on my local machine.
